Getting to Know the Console

The BrainTrainerPlus™ is a very user-friendly device for people of all ages. The convenient touch screen console has no buttons, so this helps dispel any fears of technology and computers.
Users build their self-confidence through playing and are encouraged to investigate all the capabilities of the device. Elderly people on the BrainTrainerPlus™ can use it to start triggering their memory.

The BrainTrainerPlus™ also offers individual access through a login. This option is built-in to take users straight to a game at their own level and so they can start playing immediately. This prevents them from having a disappointing experience as they can’t find their level and have to trawl through the various entry levels before they can start. Any regular user of BrainTrainerPlus™ can always start with a familiar gaming environment straight away.

Because different types of institutions care to different patients, the BrainTrainerPlus™ can be therapeutically used in two ways. The console links somatic patients and psycho geriatric patients, creating communication between both sides and a pleasant experience.

The BrainTrainerPlus™ works with people with mild dementia or intellectual disabilities, but also with patients recovering from a stroke or heart attack.
